Resident Evil Requiem is an upcoming survival horror game developed and published by Capcom. It is the ninth main game in the Resident Evil series, following Resident Evil Village (2021). It features a new protagonist, FBI analyst Grace Ashcroft, who investigates the remains of Raccoon City with the help of federal agent Leon S. Kennedy.
Players switch between Grace and Leon, who have different gameplay mechanics. Missions featuring Grace are presented in the survival horror style of games such as Resident Evil 2 (2019), Resident Evil 7: Biohazard (2017) and Resident Evil Village, involving her efforts to evade detection from primary antagonist Victor Gideon and the monsters inside the hotel. Leon’s missions are combat-driven, similar to games such as Resident Evil 4 (2023).
