Kingdom Come: Deliverance 1 PS5 Review – A Proper Next-Gen Upgrade?

In the eight years since the original release of Kingdom Come: Deliverance, plenty has happened in the world, from an entirely new console generation to a global pandemic. Throughout all of this, the open-world RPG has remained one of the most unique games out there, surpassed only by its own sequel.

However, its original version has long been haunted by poor console performance. Now, however, with the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S upgrades, Kingdom Come: Deliverance finally feels like a great game to recommend to console gamers. The upgraded visuals look phenomenal; Plenty of details are visible on everything from character models to animals and even armor.

Combine that with the fantastic combat system and deep progression system that realistically rewards player perseverance, and you have a great way to spend dozens of hours.
