When the sky erupts in a distant mushroom cloud, Milo Reed runs the wrong way—straight into the dying city, hunting for Mom and Dad before the shockwave hits. He doesn’t make it. Instead, he dives into a crashed passenger ship: the S.S. Luna… and the doors seal like a tomb.
Inside, there’s food, bunks, tools—and NORA, the ship’s calm, relentless AI who treats the apocalypse like a paperwork problem. Milo fights through panic, a nightmare “decontamination,” and even a giant cockroach ambush… only to learn the worst truth: the ship’s shielding is failing. The outside will kill him in hours. The inside will kill him in days.
So Milo stops grieving and starts planning. If the Luna was built to travel… then maybe it was built to reach someone still alive.
