Welcome back to the Hof Bergmann Farm Timelapse. With the grain harvest finished, the focus shifts to straw logistics and compost production. A tractor is set up for dual-purpose work, equipped with a front rake and a rear straw pick-up, allowing windrowing and collection in a single pass. At the field, two trucks are already in position, ready to keep transport running without interruptions.
Straw is raked, picked up, and continuously loaded into truck trailers. The first loads are delivered to the storage facility and unloaded, while additional trailers are redirected to the compost trench. Once the trench is filled, straw is transported to the industrial processing complex, where large-scale compost production begins.
At the plant, straw is unloaded into a dedicated trench and processed into biomass. This biomass is then loaded again and hauled to the compost processing facility, where it is converted into palletized compost. During this process, it becomes clear that the compost warehouse is already at full capacity, so several batches of finished compost are immediately transported to the point of sale. This not only clears storage space but also generates a solid cash flow for the farm.
The workflow continues field by field, maintaining a steady rhythm of straw collection, transport, and processing. By integrating straw harvesting with compost production and smart logistics, the operation turns leftover crop residue into a valuable resource, strengthening the farm’s economy and keeping production chains running efficiently in Farming Simulator 25.
