Welcome back to the Judith Plains Montana Farm Timelapse. We open this series by focusing on profit from new production lines. Our soy product factory has already accumulated a large stock of finished goods, so the first task of the day is sales logistics. Pallets are loaded onto a platform and transported to the selling point, turning stored products into immediate cash flow.
Alongside tofu and soy cutlets, we also sell finished goods from other production chains, including beer, whiskey, bakery products, and potato chips. Coordinated sales across multiple industries allow us to clear storage efficiently and stabilize production output. By the end of the sales run, today’s operations generate more than $8 million in profit, creating a strong financial foundation for further expansion.
With sales completed, we shift back to field work. A combine harvester is brought to the sunflower field to begin harvesting, and the harvested crop is delivered directly to the oil production facility, keeping processing lines supplied without delays.
To close the cycle, we invest in field preparation for the next season. A new plow is purchased, and fields previously used for potatoes and sugar beets are cultivated. This step restores soil condition and prepares the land for upcoming sowing, ensuring the farm remains productive and efficient across consecutive cycles.
