Our ‘allies’ in Greece are under grave threat from the power of Macedon and have requested Roman assistance. Your task is trivial. Establish a colony that impresses these Greeks with the glory of Rome, and beat back any and all Macedonian incursions.
The chosen site is a bay with great harbour potential for flourishing trade, ample fishing, and plenty of docking for a motivational galley. Surveyors report great mineral wealth, but babble about shaking earth and the wrath of Vulcan. Pay no heed to these superstitious cretins.
Do not fail me, Governor. You will stop the heirs of Alexander here or you will do so on the seas.
